Daily Schedule

May 3–13, 2026
October 26–November 5, 2026
(10 nights/11 days)
Day 1.
Arrival in Windhoek.
Total travel time: 1 hour.
We will meet you at the airport in Windhoek, the capital of Namibia, and from there we will head straight to our first 5-star lodge in comfortable 4x4 SUVs.
We’ll return to Windhoek at the end of the trip, but today we’ll spend our time surrounded by wildlife: luxurious designer chalets, a picturesque pool overlooking the canyon, where hyraxes, baboons, and warthogs dart past you every now and then, so you can immediately feel just how hospitable, abundantly delicious, and comfortable Africa can be.
Day 2.
A walk with cheetahs. The Kalahari Desert.
Total travel time: 3.5 hours.
Today you’ll need some courage, because you’re in for a 1.5-hour walk with cheetahs. It’s an unforgettable experience—one that alone makes the trip to Namibia worthwhile! Cheetahs are as affectionate as house cats; they purr loudly and lick your hands with their rough tongues. They were raised on a farm and are safe around people.

Next, we’ll head to the first of Namibia’s two deserts—the Kalahari. We’ll spend the night at a cozy 5-star lodge nestled among the red dunes of the Kalahari Desert
If you’d like, you can take an electric bike ride at sunset and spot your first oryx, bat-eared foxes, and playful ground squirrels, take a dip in one of the lodge’s two pools, or visit the lovely bar on the grounds.
Day 3.
A forest of quill trees. Fish River Canyon.
Total travel time: 4.5 hours.
If there were a device to measure the epicness of a moment, it would definitely go off the charts in the Fish River area! The largest canyon on the African continent and the second largest in the world—a worthy rival to America’s Grand Canyon. Grand scale, whimsical rock formations, multicolored carved walls, breathtaking views, and a narrow ribbon of river… Un-be-liev-able!
Let’s stop in the quiver tree forest—an otherworldly forest of aloe trees standing 7–9 meters tall. It’s called the “quiver tree” because the Bushmen use its branches to make quivers for arrows.

For dinner, we’ll be enjoying a perfectly cooked antelope steak.
Day 4.
A ghost town. Namibian oysters.
After breakfast, we’ll explore the ghost town of Kolmanskop. During the diamond rush, this European-style oasis town flourished in the middle of the desert: beautiful houses, a modern hospital, a theater, a bowling alley, an ice factory, and even a horse-drawn tram. There were so many diamonds that workers could easily scoop them up with a brush and a dustpan. Now the desert is relentlessly reclaiming the territory once taken from it by humans. The houses are half-buried in sand, and the magnificent play of light and shadow has turned Kolmanskop into a place where the best photographs are now taken.
Let’s refresh our spirits with a view of the raging Atlantic Ocean, meet some pink flamingos, and have lunch at the best restaurant on the coast, where you can enjoy lobster, shrimp, and the freshest Namibian oysters—which, by the way, are the best in the world!

We’ll spend the night at a Western-style lodge, where herds of wild desert horses graze among the picturesque reddish-brown hills.
Travel time to Kolmanskop is 3 hours, plus 1 hour and 15 minutes to the lodge.
Day 5.
Sossusvlei National Park. Dune 45 at sunset.
Landing on Mars. The Namib Desert is considered the oldest in the world. These red dunes existed back when dinosaurs still roamed the Earth. The dune is enormous, soft, and very warm in the evening. We’ll take off our shoes and climb it barefoot. We’ll watch the sunset over a vast orange ocean of sand on Dune 45, the most photogenic dune in the world. By the end of the trip, you’ll have a collection of the most beautiful sunsets you’ve ever seen.
The best is yet to come… Get your telescopes ready—the most star-filled night of your life awaits! Sitting in comfortable chairs on the huge terrace of our lodge, we’ll be able to observe the countless billions of stars in the Southern Hemisphere, other planets, and the Milky Way stretching across the entire sky. It’s no wonder Namibia ranks among the top three places on Earth for stargazing.
Total travel time: 4.5 hours.
Day 6.
Deadvlei. Apple pie. The road to Walvis Bay.
Today we’ll wake up before dawn to be the first to see Namibia’s most iconic location before the crowds arrive. The Dead Valley gives the impression of a place where even time has stood still. It’s hard to imagine now that this was once a lush oasis. All that remains of it is a flat, champagne-colored salt plateau and the dry skeletons of trees that died 600–700 years ago, surrounded by bright red dunes. Every square meter in this valley is a work of art.

Any angle or photo taken with even the simplest camera is bound to become the cover of your personal photo album. Nature is the greatest abstract artist. Another planet. A parallel reality. It can’t be anything else.
For lunch, we’ll try the apple and meat pies—famous throughout Namibia—and have a photo shoot with the colorful rusty cars in the background.
In the evening, we’ll find ourselves back on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, where we’ll sample a local specialty—the delicious kinglip fish—and spend the night in a beautiful seaside mansion.
Total travel time: 5 hours.
Day 7.
A trip to see the seals. Sandwich Harbour. The Pink Lakes. Swakopmund.
Oysters and champagne for breakfast? No problem!
In the morning, we’ll go on a boat trip. The seals will jump right into our boat, lounge on the cushions, and beg for fish. Next, the pelicans will fly in. We’ll visit an oyster farm. If we’re lucky, we’ll get a close-up view of humpback whales and dolphins.
In the afternoon, we’ll go on a dune safari in specially equipped jeeps.
This is a unique place where the dunes of the Namib Desert meet the ocean. This is where the elements truly clash! We’ll drive across the giant sand dunes, stopping at the peaks to take in the breathtaking views of the ocean and the desert.
We’ll watch the sunset at the bird sanctuary, with the flamingo-filled lagoons and pink lakes in the background. We’ll have dinner at Swakopmund’s best seafood restaurant and pick up some authentic souvenirs.
Total travel time: 40 minutes.
Day 8.
Cape fur seals. Skeleton Coast. Spitzkoppe.
In the morning, we’ll visit the world’s largest colony of Cape fur seals! This isn’t just talk. It’s a sight where the shore is obscured by a sea of black bodies stretching to the horizon—there are between 40,000 and 60,000 of them here! Part of our journey will take us along the Skeleton Coast, where shipwrecks are scattered across the desolate shoreline.

Next, we’ll head to Spitzkoppe. Stone arches, whimsical granite sculptures, and the highest peak at 1,784 meters—known as the Matterhorn of Namibia. It looks impressive!
We're spending the night in a luxurious 5-star lodge inside the national park. Outside the window—a landscape straight out of Mars and granite boulders that are 120 million years old!

We’ll have dinner at a fine-dining restaurant and swim in the pool under the starry sky. Sounds like a great plan, doesn’t it?
Total travel time: 3.5 hours.
Day 9.
The Himba Tribe. Etosha National Park.
Total travel time: 6 hours.
After breakfast, we’ll head to Etosha National Park. Its main feature is a vast salt pan that’s visible even from space. Wild animals gather around the waterholes, and we’ll go on a photo hunt for them tomorrow during our self-drive safari.

And today, we’ll pay a visit to the Himba tribe. The women use ox tails and clay to style their hair. They never wash, but every day they rub their bodies with ochre and take “smoke baths.”
We’ll spend the night in the Etosha Nature Reserve, sipping wine and chatting about life on the terrace of our charming lodge, with views of the endless savanna and the watering hole where wild animals come almost around the clock.
Day 10.
Safari in Etosha National Park. The drive to Windhoek.
We’ll wake up at dawn and, after breakfast, head out on a morning game drive to observe the animals in their natural habitat. Namibia is the only country in the world where the population of rare black rhinos is growing rather than declining. There’s also a good chance of spotting lions, elephants, giraffes, and leopards. And, of course, countless herds of zebras, kudus, oryx, and springboks.
In the afternoon, we bid farewell to Etosha National Park and complete our tour of the country—returning to Windhoek. We’ve covered 3,500 km, and we’re already making plans for our next trips together.

We'll be staying at Windhoek's best 5-star hotel, which features a rooftop infinity pool.
Total travel time: 3.5 hours
Day 11.
Windhoek is the capital of Namibia. Flight home.
If your flight is in the afternoon (which is most likely the case), then in the morning we’ll take a stroll through the picturesque Parliament Gardens, pop into the gingerbread-style Church of Christ, and visit a meteorite exhibition. Or we can head straight to the airport.
Our trip to outer space is over, but we’ll definitely see you on our next adventures!
