A World of Pictures
National Geographic is waiting for you
We’ll show you the real Africa: the wild savanna, countless zebras and graceful giraffes, baobab trees as big as houses, elephants digging up the Tarangire Riverbed and driving predators away from their calves, a leopard sleeping in a tree, a pride of well-fed lions just a few feet away from you, a cheetah’s breakfast, a pink blanket of flamingos on Lake Magadi, and a family of hippos bathing in the river—all these images will linger in your memories for a long time to come…

We’ll wake up in Africa’s most beautiful 5+ star luxury lodges to the sounds of the savanna—which at dawn moans, sings, roars in unison, dine in national parks where a table set with a snow-white tablecloth awaits you, and then watch the vibrant African sunsets with a glass of champagne while lying in the pool, watching elephants stroll peacefully right before your eyes.

Finally, we will be among those lucky few who find themselves in the right country, in the right park, at just the right time. We will witness the Great Animal Migration at the height of the season—a rare and coveted sight that everyone dreams of seeing, but only a select few ever get to experience.

Daily Schedule
Safari from August 20 to 25, 2023.
Zanzibar (optional) from August 25 to 28, 2023.
Day 1.
Welcome to Africa!
We’ll be waiting for you at Arusha Airport (Kilimanjaro International Airport, JRO) in Tanzania. This is where all the major safari tours begin.

We’ll go on a safari tomorrow, but today we’re relaxing at a luxurious 5-star hotel, where every room offers panoramic views of Mount Meru. You can cool off in the huge outdoor pool, visit the spa, or enjoy a massage with oils made from African plants—it’ll instantly revitalize you after the flight. Just let us know, and we’ll book it for you in advance!
This evening, we’ll gather around a large table for a traditional welcome dinner. Our African adventures are about to begin...

Meals included: breakfast, dinner.
Day 2.
Tarangire is home to elephants and baobab trees.
Let’s put on our stylish safari gear and head out on a safari after breakfast!
Our goal is to immerse ourselves in the world of true wilderness and come face to face with animals we’ve only read about in textbooks or seen at zoos. Lions, rhinos, cheetahs, leopards, zebras, antelopes, and, of course, elephants in their natural habitat.

Tarangire is a national park where you’re surrounded by elephants on all sides. They peacefully roam the savanna, crossing the road right in front of our jeeps, digging up the Tarangire Riverbed, and chasing predators away from the baby elephants. Elephant therapy in action!

At the sight of such pristine nature—huge baobab trees, a stunning sky dotted with cartoonish clouds, giraffes against a backdrop of tall grass, and the complete absence of human civilization—somewhere deep within your soul, ancient, genetically ingrained feelings are stirred, giving rise to childlike wonder and new emotions that are hard to describe… In Africa, you’re 12 again…
All of our luxury lodges are located within national parks, surrounded by wilderness, so you may only leave your room when accompanied by your personal Masai butler.

This designer lodge in Tarangire National Park seems designed to leave you breathless with its beauty: an infinity pool, dinner from the best chef in the savannah, an excellent wine list, personalized flasks for guests, two luxurious bathtubs in every room, one of which is on the terrace with a panoramic view of the entire Rift Valley. And a special surprise from us at sunset before dinner

Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and all beverages.
Day 3.
The Ngorongoro Crater—Africa in miniature.
Our lodge is so wonderful that you’ll wish we’d accidentally left you in your room this morning. You’ll have to wake up and save your excitement for the day ahead, because today we have an extraordinary game drive in store!

The Ngorongoro Crater is the caldera of an ancient volcano, and our safari will take place inside it. What makes it unique is that, due to its steep slopes, most of the animals inside the crater cannot escape. A true lost world has formed here, containing everything found in the wider world: lakes, rivers, forests, plains… and the highest concentration of animals—more than 25,000 within the enclosed space of the caldera.

Perhaps you’ve seen those beautifully set tables with snow-white tablecloths that seem to appear out of nowhere right in the middle of the savanna? And on this tablecloth that seems to have appeared out of thin air, a hearty lunch has already been laid out for us: fish, meat, vegetables, fruit—all fresh, and best of all, prepared with love!

After lunch, we gather new safari memories: a family of hippos bathing in the river, a pride of ten lions surveying the savanna with occasional breaks for play, and a pink blanket of flamingos on Lake Magadi—all of which go down as some of our most vivid memories.

In the evening, we’ll be welcomed by a new VIP lodge on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater. We’ll be among the first guests here, as it opened just a month ago. A swimming pool and snow-white suites overlooking the crater, an exclusive spa, and dishes prepared using local traditions. It is here that you feel a sense of complete unity with the savanna, the animals, and yourself. Conversations, an African sunset (it’s especially beautiful here), a glass of chilled wine, and a view of the crater that gives you goosebumps.
Can you feel yourself falling in love with Africa?

Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and all beverages.
Day 4.
Serengeti National Park. Visiting the Maasai tribe.
The Serengeti is often called “Africa’s boundless plain.” People come here in search of the Big Five (elephant, lion, buffalo, rhino, and leopard). This is where you’re most likely to witness predators hunting. It’s also where National Geographic films its documentaries.

“To spot a leopard, you have to think like a leopard”—the most elusive and sought-after animal we’ll try to track down on this safari. Spoiler alert: look up high—very often, leopards climb into the treetops with prey that’s much larger than they are.

Here in the savanna, we’ll not only collect the Big Five, but also make friends with the Maasai—an indigenous African tribe. We’ll get to know their way of life, learn which car tires are best suited for making sandals, how to build a house out of sticks and dung without a blueprint, how many wives are needed for complete happiness, dance a ritual dance together, and learn how to make fire without matches.
We’re sure to find a nursing lioness with half a dozen purring cubs, and then, feeling a sense of accomplishment, we’ll head back to the lodge—because you won’t see anything cuter than that today.

We’ll be staying at the most incredible of all the Four Seasons luxury lodges, which we book at least six months in advance. We can’t wait to tell you—this isn’t a dream! We’re really here, at the hotel of our dreams. Where else in the world can you swim in a pool right across from an elephant watering hole?! It feels like you could just reach out and touch their trunks. Moments like these stay with you for a lifetime!

Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and all beverages.
Day 5.
The Great Migration of the Serengeti.
In the morning, you open your eyes, step out onto the balcony of your lodge, and there before you—the entire savanna is singing, moaning, and roaring in unison. At dawn, those who wish to can take a hot-air balloon ride over it (optional).

Today promises to be another unique day on safari. After all, this is the time and place where herds of wildebeest and zebras begin just five meters away from you and stretch out until they merge with the horizon, forming a dark band against the crimson dawn. The Great Migration at the height of the season features 2.5 million wildebeests and zebras circling the plains, following the grass and the rains, obeying only the call known only to them. Surrealism. More like a dream than reality.

The highlight, the climax of our safari, is waiting for the first wildebeest—a sort of “Moses”—to dare to leap into the deadly, crocodile-infested river. But we’re the kind of people who know how to wait—the final, fifth day of the safari will be entirely devoted to this unique spectacle.

A stream of animals begins to make its way to the shore as early as Kenya. The Mara River receives and carries the toll of one of the days of the Great Migration. Hippos and crocodiles swim out to feed on the animals. Not all of the antelopes will make it to the opposite bank…
A safari in Tanzania is an experience worth having at least once in your life—to feel a mix of peace and excitement, wonder, delight, disappointment, unbridled joy, and elation. There’s only one emotion you won’t experience here: indifference.

For your final night on safari, we invite you to enjoy an enticing escape from the world and peaceful seclusion in the heart of the African savanna—at a luxury camp that blends opulence with harmony with nature. A pool in a rocky natural cave overlooking the endless plains, where wild animals often come to visit; floor-to-ceiling glass walls in every suite; a private veranda with a hammock and a large copper bathtub.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and all beverages.
Day 6.
Fly home or… continue the journey in Zanzibar.
A dirt runway right in the middle of the Serengeti, where you’ll have to make an important decision—whether to head home or fly on with us to the island of Zanzibar.
Through the porthole, we see “God’s Mountain”—the name the Maasai have given to the coldest volcano on Earth, whose lava is eroded by ordinary rain. Below us lies the eternal life of the savanna, where nothing will change even hundreds of years from now. So be it!

So, we’re flying to the capital of Zanzibar Island, wandering through the narrow streets of Stone Town—with its colonial architecture infused with local African flair, coffee shops tucked away in the labyrinthine streets, stalls, spices, and a unique atmosphere. We’ll see the house where Freddie Mercury was born. And we’ll also compile a collection of the most beautiful carved doors with spikes. There are over 200 of them in Stone Town. They’re a unique city landmark, a sign of a family’s wealth and status, and often the most expensive part of the house.
For lunch, we’ll enjoy a huge platter of fresh seafood, delicious coffee, and exotic fruits. Afterward, we’ll head to an island that used to be a prison. Now it’s home to giant Seychelles tortoises, the oldest of which was born in the 19th century! You can feed them by hand and pet them.

We'll be staying at a charming hotel with breakfast included.

Meals included: breakfast, a packed lunch for the trip.
Day 7.
Relax on the shores of the Indian Ocean.
It’s time to immerse yourself in the famous atmosphere of Akun Matata! And that means canceling all your plans, tours, kitesurfing, and dolphin-watching so you can spend the whole day doing absolutely nothing. Take a deep breath. Slow down. Live in the moment. Laze around with pleasure. Where else but on a tropical island?

Yeah, we’ll be spending the next two days at a 5-star hotel on Kendwa Beach, which is considered one of the best beaches in the world—and best of all, there are no noticeable tides there. Here, the snow-white coral sand doesn’t heat up in the sun or burn your feet, and the turquoise Indian Ocean is so gentle and warm that you’ll want to float in it all day long.
Here you’ll find starfish in unimaginable colors, breathtaking sunsets, an abundance of seafood, dinners at the hotel or in restaurants accompanied by the sound of the waves, and total relaxation. If you’d like, you can even swim with horses at sunset right in the ocean.

Meals included: breakfast, dinner.
Day 8.
Pet a cheetah or have lunch on a deserted island.
You can decide for yourself how to spend the day. We’ll be happy to assist and organize any additional activities for you.

You can have lunch on a deserted island that emerges from the water at low tide and disappears at high tide. Go snorkeling. Visit Zanzibar’s Jurassic Park—a real tropical forest home to the unique Kirk’s red colobus monkeys, which are endemic to the island. Or visit the Animal Rescue Center, where you can pet a cheetah, drink champagne with a white lion, race against it, hand-feed a Bengal tiger, and treat a lemur to some fruit.
Don't miss our traditional gala dinner—this time at an iconic restaurant perched on a cliff in the middle of the ocean, which can only be reached by boat at high tide.

Meals included: breakfast, dinner.
Day 9.
Let’s leave our hearts in Africa so we can come back again!
Leaving Africa… Hugs, tears, and promises to meet again. Where? Maybe in Africa again—after all, it will always remain in our hearts!

Let’s try to describe your feelings using words from Ernest Hemingway’s *The Green Hills of Africa*: “Right now, I wanted only one thing: to return to Africa. We hadn’t left yet, but when I woke up at night, I would lie there, listen, and already long for it.”
